Chris remembers drawing when he first started school at five years old, and he has not stopped since.

At fifteen he left school to work as a gofer and dogsbody in a commercial art studio in the centre of London.

After six years of working in this environment, he decided to apply to Art School, completing four years of fine art, exclusively painting and drawing.

Since this time he has illustrated for a large variety of industries both in the UK and abroad. Some of these are: Advertising, visualising and storyboards, Animation, character development and background art, Editorial and book publishing, and licensed character merchandising.

After living and working in Germany and Italy (and then back to London), he has settled down in France with his wife and children and their cat named Bob.

His studio “L’atelier de l’Illustrateur” is on the ground-floor of the family home situated in the conservation area, in the heart of the pretty medieval city of Dinan in North Brittany.
